Hi. I’m Owen.

I’m studying computer science at Haverford College (though currently taking time off), and I’ve lived my entire life in Brooklyn. Despite the tech background and city upbringing, my favorite way to spend time is being in the outdoors. But as much as I appreciate the beauty and peace, it’s adventures with others that really pull me into the wilderness.

I often lead trips with people I’ve never met. Yet somehow, we always emerge understanding one another, feeling close, in a way my younger self would never have imagined possible. That’s been the case from my first backpacking trip in Wind River, Wyoming. Now, I spend most of my time trying to live as I do when I’m outside, even in this more harsh environment we call “the real world”.
